Nigel Quinney is the Resident Partner and Head of the Dispute Resolution Department at W H Matthews & Co Sutton office. Nigel trained at W H Matthews & Co and qualified as a Solicitor in 1984.

Nigel specialises in Family Law and has expertise in all areas of divorce, finance and children disputes, cohabitation breakdown, cohabitation and pre-nuptial agreements. Nigel is an accredited member of the Law Society’s Family Law section.

Nigel also practices Employment Law acting for both employers and employees in a wide range of matters, he regularly handles cases at the Employment Tribunal and also acts on the drafting and advising on Settlement Agreements.

Nigel’s practice also covers Civil Litigation including property disputes between co-owners, Landlord & Tenant disputes and boundary and neighbour disputes.

Nigel has a patient but determined approach to solving clients problems thereby achieving the right result for the client.

Nigel is a board member and former chair of Sutton Citizens Advice Bureau. He is married with two children and enjoys tennis, badminton, cycling and supporting Sutton United and Crystal Palace.
